The Institute of Computing for Physics and Technology (ICPT) was founded in 1994 with the participation of the Ministry of Science, Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Russian Ministry of Atomic Energy, Moscow State University (MSU) and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) , as well as a number of commercial companies. ICPT is located in Protvino (Moscow region), and has offices in Moscow, Novosibirsk, Germany and Singapore.
